A Victorian Quarry faced blinding issues in their screening operations, causing reduced efficiency, increased downtime, and higher maintenance costs.

The Quarry Manager used a rubber block attached to rope, daily manual adjustments and intensive block shaking was required to unclog feed material.

To tackle this, Kinder’s K-Deblinding Rods were installed.  These high-frequency vibrating rods, made of poly urethane, prevent material from sticking to screens.

Installation was quick, taking just 30 minutes, with seamless integration into existing processes.

The Quarry Manager reported significant improvements.  The K-Deblinding Rods stabilised production, reduced maintenance costs, and eliminated the need for manual adjustments.

This “set and forget” solution enhanced efficiency and product quality.  The Quarry now maintains high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

The success has sparked interest in expanding this solution to other operations, showcasing its effectiveness in eliminating blinding and boosting overall productivity.
