Kinder’s expert team of field application specialists and engineers has closely examined key areas where improvements can be made to greatly increase efficiency and productivity.

These critical points, often conveyor transfer points or other impact zones, can be prone to material spillage, excessive dust, belt edge sag, and unsupported belts.

K-Flexal® elastic belt support system provides the support needed for these critical points, and is simple, effective, and highly adaptable.

The K-Flexal® system features engineered cross-belt polyurethane elastic saddles. These saddles act as shock absorbers, essentially absorbing the impact of falling material and distributing the weight evenly across the belt. This significantly reduces the stress on the belt itself, preventing rips, tears, and premature wear.

K-Flexal® saddles absorb impact, lower friction, and distribute weight, ensure longer conveyor belt life. This reduces replacement costs and keeps operations running without unexpected disruptions. The impact absorbed by the K-Flexal® system also protects the conveyor rollers and idlers. This minimises damage to these crucial components, further reducing maintenance needs and downtime.

Customers have reported the K-Flexal® was easy to install and very belt friendly.

A coal and iron ore mining operation customer has seen improvements in sealing, with no obvious signs of dust adhering to the back of the saddles.

After two years of service, the K-Flexal® continues to deliver superior belt protection and extend the wear life of critical conveyor components at the site.

The K-Flexal® system is available in both standard and heavy-duty configurations. Heavy-duty assemblies are supplied with saddles manufactured from a tougher formula and stiffer supporting structure for aggressive applications.
