Material carryback is one of the most common challenges faced in bulk handling, and can lead to serious operational and safety issues. The K-Spiromax® Cleaning and Tracking Roller features resilient and wear resistant polyurethane spirals that help to remove sticky carry back and assist in belt centring and tracking. They are suitable for all belt widths and can be employed on any part of the return belt section.
The solution consists of a standard return roller fitted with wear resistant polyurethane rings in a specialised spiral pattern.
Ideally the unit should be positioned over the discharge chute or a collection hopper. Alternatively, on long sections it is beneficial to position these rollers only up to the point where the material does not adhere any more to the belt surface.
Once installed, they are free of any maintenance and adjusting. The benefit in having K-Spiromax® Cleaning and Tracking Rollers is invaluable and the key to having a clean and centred conveyor.
